Benefits: Employee discounts Paid time off About Our Company

John Peters Professional Limousines, Inc. is an established luxury transportation company proudly serving clients since 1989.

In addition to our traditional chauffeured transportation services, we provide professional driver staffing, scheduling, and coordination for automotive manufacturers, corporate clients, promotional activations, and large-scale special events throughout the United States.

As this part of our business continues to grow, we are seeking a highly organized, dependable, and motivated individual to join our team as a

Special Events & Driver Staffing Coordinator .

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, solving problems, and managing multiple moving parts in a fast-paced environment.

About the Position

This is not a traditional event-planning position.

Our special events often require anywhere from 5 to 30 or more professional drivers, sometimes across multiple days and in different cities throughout the country.

Some events are scheduled well in advance, while others may require staffing with only a few days' notice.

The person in this position will be responsible for helping recruit, coordinate, schedule, and manage drivers for these events, while maintaining strong communication with our clients and internal team.

Training will be provided on our company's procedures, systems, and special-event operations.

We are more interested in finding someone who is organized, resourceful, dependable, and eager to learn than someone who necessarily has experience in the limousine industry.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate driver staffing for corporate and automotive special events nationwide.

Recruit and maintain a database of qualified professional drivers in various cities and regions.

Communicate with drivers regarding availability, scheduling, assignments, and event details.

Assist with driver onboarding, license verification, motor vehicle record checks, and other screening requirements.

Prepare driver schedules, event rosters, assignment confirmations, and instructions.

Communicate directly with corporate clients regarding staffing requirements and event logistics.

Coordinate approved driver travel arrangements, including flights, hotels, and ground transportation when necessary.

Respond promptly to scheduling changes, cancellations, and unexpected staffing needs.

Monitor driver attendance, assignment completion, and event-related communications.

Track driver hours and assist with payroll verification and event reconciliation.

Maintain accurate records using company software, spreadsheets, and scheduling systems.

Work closely with company management and office personnel.

Assist with other company operational and administrative responsibilities as needed.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Strong written and verbal communication.

Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure.

Comfortable speaking with drivers, clients, and vendors over the phone and by email.

Strong computer skills, including email, spreadsheets, and online applications.

Attention to detail and the ability to follow through on assignments.

Ability to work independently, solve problems, and take initiative.

Dependable, professional, and willing to learn.

Flexibility to handle occasional time-sensitive requests outside normal business hours.

Experience That Would Be Helpful, But Is Not Required:

Event coordination or event operations.

Employee scheduling or staffing.

Recruiting or human resources support.

Transportation, logistics, or dispatching.

Managing multiple projects, employees, or locations.

Experience with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, or similar applications.

Previous transportation industry is preferred but is not required. Training will be provided.
