Responsibilities Design and implement a comprehensive computer science curriculum tailored to students' grade levels and skills. Teach students the basics of computer operations, coding, word processing, spreadsheets, and other essential computer applications. Foster a positive and engaging learning environment that encourages student participation and curiosity. Assess and evaluate students' progress through quizzes, tests, and assignments, providing constructive feedback. Stay updated with the latest developments in technology and adapt teaching methods to incorporate new tools and techniques. Support students in developing digital literacy and critical thinking skills. Collaborate with faculty to integrate technology into other subject areas and support interdisciplinary projects. Organize and supervise extracurricular computer clubs or activities. Requirements Proven experience as a computer teacher or a similar role. Strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals and teaching methods. Proficient in various programming languages and software applications. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to adapt to different learning styles and needs. Strong organizational and classroom management skills. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Education, or a related field. Teaching certification or licensure as required by the local educational authority. A minimum of 1–2 years of teaching experience, preferably in a classroom setting.
